The conversation
Milan Savov talks with Nikola Bubevski, a sales and operations leader who helped scale teams at Native Teams, about why companies fail to scale even with talented people. Nikola argues that most growth problems are systems problems, not talent problems, and that many bad hires are really undefined roles. As a company grows from five to thirty-five people, the founder's calendar and the management layer are usually the first things to break.
He believes in building systems where average people do great work and great people do their best work, and warns that AI only amplifies broken processes. A company becomes scalable only when the founder trusts systems more than their own availability.
Have a story like this one?
You don't need a huge company. You need a real story and the willingness to tell it honestly.
